FFCU seeks to contract an enthusiastic Ambassador to be the face and voice of our brand in the community where we serve. As a successful candidate, you will be involved in increasing brand awareness and member acquisition by promoting FFCU’s products and services through various media or in-person channels. You will work with our Marketing Team or Ambassador Lead/Manager to achieve marketing/sales goals and objectives, such as communicating the value of FFCU products to eligible members, tracking customer feedback, and representing the brand at events.
To excel in this role as an Ambassador, you must have and demonstrate excellent communication and networking skills, and a strong business-appropriate presence on social media. You should be willing to disclose your relationship with the credit union as an ambassador in every post made about FFCU on your social media channels.
- Familiarize yourself with FFCU’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Download our brand ambassador app upon invitation and disclose your social media handles.
- Complete the required campus ambassador training provided by the credit union.
- Work with Marketing Team or Ambassador Lead/Manager and/or other FFCU designated administrators to conceptualize marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Encourage peers to join and enjoy the benefits of FFCU membership.
- Educate customers and members about FFCU’s products.
- Share website and social media content to drive brand awareness and attract new members.
- Build rapport with customers and members.
- Monitor member feedback and escalate complaints to the Ambassador manager.
- Represent the company at events to acquire new members.
- Always maintain and project a positive image of the brand.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
- Have a working knowledge of social media platforms and tools.
- Be adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Adhere to FFCU’s Social Media Use Guidelines.
- Meet minimum established membership and service goals.
- Network and influence others to take advantage of valuable credit union membership, products, and services to enhance their lives.
- Must be willing to use your personal device(s) to post FFCU-approved content to social media channels.
- Ambassadors are paid as incentive-based and as follows:
- $25 incentive per new member acquired that signs up using your unique referral link/identifier. Incentives will be monthly.
- Additional bonus cash incentives based on completing weekly challenges. Examples of challenges include recruiting peers to attend virtual financial education workshops, or sharing a social media post, etc.
FFCU Campus Ambassadors will be classified as 1099 contractors and as such will be responsible for reporting and paying their own taxes.
